Meet Todd

Todd Williamson’s real estate career began in 2004 at John L. Scott in downtown Seattle. Prior to working as a broker, he was the owner and founder of an online music company focused primarily on independent record labels and unsigned bands. He brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing to his work, and possesses the skills needed for successful and profitable real estate transactions.

He specializes in the Seattle communities of West Seattle, Queen Anne, Green Lake, Ballard and Magnolia, but also works with Eastside clients in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland and Mercer Island. Whether clients are looking to buy their first home, a retirement home or a vacation home, Todd brings the qualifications and experience needed to effectively assist. For clients looking to sell, he employs a 25-point marketing plan to ensure they obtain top dollar for their home.

As a full-time broker, Todd is dedicated to providing the highest quality of service when assisting clients in the purchase or sale of their home or condominium. His clients can expect to receive personal care, professional service and individualized attention. He offers a full-service team approach to help ensure a trouble-free transaction process by partnering with experienced professionals to assist with lending, escrow, title and home warranty needs.

Todd is a multiple-year recipient of the John L Scott Chairman’s Circle Award (currently 2014-2021), which places him in the top two percent of John L. Scott brokers. His past education includes a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing, and a minor in jazz performance from San Diego State University. He also has a vocational music degree from Musicians Institute and has taken a variety of continuing education classes in computer programming (from Bellevue College) and real estate (from Rockwell Institute).

Todd lived in Chicago, Phoenix, Hollywood and San Diego before settling in Seattle in 1994. He’s a self-proclaimed “music fanatic” and has played guitar in bands across the jazz, reggae, rock and folk genres. His West Seattle-based band DÄD regularly plays shows to raise money for local school music programs – to date, DÄD has donated approximately $10,000! When Todd lived in San Diego, he worked at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center teaching sailing, surfing, wind surfing and waterskiing to children.

Outdoor activities are a major passion of Todd’s – which is probably why he loves Seattle and the Pacific Northwest so much! He loves to play hockey, ski, snowboard, bike, hike and swim. Currently, he lives in West Seattle but has also lived in Wallingford and Ballard.

West Seattle

A short drive but a world away West Seattle has it's own sense of community while still feeling like an integral part of Seattle. Whether you are here to enjoy the beaches of Alki or Lincoln Park, to shop at the junction or to make a home you will find a neighborhood pride and close knit community unlike any other in the Pacific Northwest. True to it's name West Seattle lies to the West of Downtown Seattle and it can be accessed from the heart of Seattle by the West Seattle bridge or a passenger only water taxi. West Seattle is surrounded on 3 sides by the water of the Puget Sound. All this water provides many aquatic activities and our part of Seattle provides some of the best views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. Not to mention the view of the beautiful Seattle skyline. In a lot of ways West Seattle feels like a beach town. A summer stroll along Alki provides plenty of opportunities to watch beach volleyball players, dine on fresh seafood and take in the sun. The Fauntleroy Ferry near Lincoln Park will whisk you away to Vashon Island or West Sound.

Reviews

“Todd was our (buyers) agent heading and it was a really great experience. He's very knowledgeable about the market and he is a great communicator. The summer market is crazy here and he was incredibly responsive. We literally felt like we were his only client (which was far from reality). He responded to all of our emails and gave candid and helpful feedback about the places we were looking at and the market in general. I'm actually excited to recommend him to my next friend who's looking for a realtor. I can't recommend Todd highly enough.”

“My wife and I had a great experience with Todd! He was exactly the professional we needed in our corner as first- time home buyers. Todd took all the time we needed, and we never felt pressured or rushed. I fact it was the opposite; Todd took his time to show us houses he probably knew we wouldn’t be interested in, but wanted us to see for ourselves and be sure, every step of the way. We really appreciate that Todd gave honest feedback on each property we saw without any attempt to sway our decision whatsoever. He was patient with us and was happy to answer all of our questions regarding the entire process. We were in great hands, and we continue to be thrilled with the house Todd helped us buy. After we closed, my wife and I both commented that it was a bummer we wouldn’t see Todd anymore. When it’s time to sell our home and buy another, we will be calling Todd.”

“We could not have imagined a better experience buying our first home. Todd was knowledgeable, responsive for our needs, and incredibly patient with all our questions. Todd worked very hard to find the perfect home for us. There was never any pressure – it was clear his motivation was to help us make the best choice within our budget. We couldn’t recommend Todd enough!”

“Todd is incredible, and exceeded our expectations. My husband and I relocated from Boston - and Todd prepared us for the competitive Seattle market. He is very personable - he took the time to really understand what we were looking for. He was incredibly flexible, meeting us after work and on the weekends when we needed. When we had open houses, he accompanied us so we could get "early access" too. When it was time to write offers, he was very clear with the timeline and expectations. We really relied on his expertise about the Seattle market and the buying process here in general. Todd really made us feel like a priority and we look forward to working with him in the future, and referring him to any of our friends who are future home buyers in the area.”
